SCM501 - Personal Brand - JRE Top Picks

The brand I am trying to put forward 'JRE Top Picks' is entirely devoid of anything to do with myself, it exists as a type of fan page with the purpose of promoting Joe Rogan's podcast to more people. Because of this reality, a lot of the branding is already existent from how Joe brands himself.
Due to the nature of the brand being that I pick out my 'top picks', there is control over the brand through what podcasts I choose to push forward to my audience. Over time this would lead to an obvious personal bias when it comes to the guests Joe hosts, Joe also generally has an open mind to many of his guests and tried to bring the best out of them whilst rarely opposing their viewpoints directly which would lead to less conversation that is less fruitful in my opinion. I have a wide interest when it comes to Joe's podcasts as most of the guests are within my boundary of interest, including but not limited to (comedians, hunters, scientists, writers).
At this stage the overall 'brand' does not show very well due to the small sample size of blog posts that I have made, at this stage, it would be hard to guess that I actually have a wide interest in a variety of guest types rather than just the ones I have posted so far. Once a comfortable amount of blogs were done I would feel more comfortable and established knowing that somebody wouldn't just open the blog and think that all I care about is promoting a certain couple of niche guest types.
The potential audience of my brand can be considered quite wide but due to it being so wide it has to appeal to open-minded people who can take enjoyment from delving into multiple topics and from multiple points of view. Joe is quite experienced in 'steel-manning' people points of view in which he does his best to understand them as well as they do. With this full education, he can then make his own mind up and allow his guests to not be swayed by Joe's personal bias, albeit this is not always the case on some things Joe feels strongly on but it is generally within reason.
The audience that I wish to capture is ideally young men like myself, who may learn to apply Joe's outlook on life too themselves. If we look back on Joe's body of work it is quite easy to see how open-minded he is and at what lengths he will go to find the truth. Joe aside though, the guests he has on are often very educational or just a good laugh.
I think this is a brand worth putting forward to people, I've found many hours of humour amidst educational and thought-provoking content whilst also being introduced to a plethora of alternative content creators who are in themselves good role models who aid in promoting understanding and rationale conversation above all.

Every podcast may not be for everyone but I believe that almost anyone can find a podcast that they will find valuable, hopefully by exposing some of the best podcasts more people will find out about this fantastic opportunity for endless hours of entertainment.
